Mason is a member of the fourth generation of a photocentric family that operate out of Cardiff. His lineage owns the longest-running independent photographic retailer Camera centre UK. Alfie is a biomedical science graduate who instead fell in to an obsession with all things photographic after his degree leading to working alongside mason at Camera centre UK. Therefore, the duo have surrounded themselves with a wide range of equipment daily. Nevertheless, their history runs further than that as they grew up alongisde each other in the same high school year believing that this familairity is what makes them an ideal pairing for photography hire.

One of the first major influences on how we chose to see the world came from the Canadian painter, Rob Gonsalves. Photography can often be about revealing what is already in plain sight. Equally it can be about revealing what is not. The work of Rob Gonsalves has changed how we can choose what stories we wish to tell. "Magic Realism" isn't just a label but a way of capturing the world around you.
Elliott Erwitt
Magnum photographer and pioneer of black and white film photography, Elliott Erwitt was an iconoclast of his time. The subtle humour that he puts in to many of his iconic pieces evokes a similar feeling to Rob Gonsalves. However, this is now working on black and white film which always creates an effect that transcends time.
